I Heart Faces {week 21} Pets!!!
This week atI heart faces they have a special "pet" category! I was super excited because I loooove animals :)
This is a portrait that I took, and then painted in Corel painter.
This is Bandit. He belongs to my Mother-n-Law & he is the sweetest doggy! I love the curious look that he has in this image :)

Thank you so much ladies! I'll have to do a tutorial on the blog to show everyone how to paint portraits. There isn't really a short way to tell everyone how to do it :)
It's not a photoshop filter. I start on photoshop to enhance colors & then take it over to Corel Painter for the rest of the work.
This particular painting took me about 6 hours to complete. A painting of a person can take up to 12 hours.
It's lots of work, but I think it's worth it.
